Q: Do you carry general liability insurance?

A: Yes! We carry General Liability Insurance and can provide a certification of insurance (COI) upon request.

Q:  Do you provide an itemized estimate?
A:  Yes! We believe in transparency. Estimates will be itemized, which helps provide you with options to take items off and you’ll know what the price adjustment would be. We feel that an estimate with just one final price at the bottom lacks transparency and is a red flag.

Q:  How long does a home remodel project take?
A:  Great question! It all depends on the scope of work. When you meet with our estimator, you can explain you time constraints if you have any. The estimator will be able to let you know if the project can be done within that time. If there are no time constraint, we will be able to provide you with an estimated project length when we send you our estimate.

Q:  Can I live in my home during the remodel project?
A: For the most part, yes you can live in your house during the remodel. Just know that living through a remodel can be stressful, as some of your daily comforts will be unavailable during most of the project. However, if you focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, living through a remodel is manageable. If you are looking to do a full gut remodel project, relocating during the project is a good idea.

Q:  Can I pay with a credit card?
A: Right now we do not have an option to pay with a credit card.

Q: How do you handle project timelines and deadlines?

A: Based on the scope of your project, our project manager can provide an estimated timeline for your project once we provide you with our estimate. We do our very best to stick to that timeline. If anything comes up that might affect that timeline, we will be sure to inform you right away.

Q: Can you provide a detailed cost estimate for my project?

A: Yes, after our estimator visits your project and understands your vision, we will be able to provide a detailed line item estimate for your project.

Q: How do you handle change orders?

A: We don’t like change orders. We try our best to stick to the estimated cost we give you at the beginning of the project. But, there’s a challenge – we can’t see everything under the floors or inside the walls when we estimate. When we open walls or pull up floors, sometimes we find unexpected issues. When this happens, we’ll tell you right away before doing any extra work. We’ll explain the issue and give you options. Another time a change order might come up is if there’s a change in the scope of work after we’ve started the project.

Q: Will there be a dedicated project manager overseeing my project?

A: Yes, you’ll have your very own project manager just for your project and you can always reach out to them. We also have a helpful admin team behind the scenes, ready to answer any questions or concerns you might have during your project. So, there’s always someone here for you!

Q: What kind of warranty or guarantee do you provide for your work?

A: We provide a 1 year warranty on labor. The warranty for the material is what is provided by the manufacturer.

Q: How do payments work throughout the project?

A: It all depends on the size of your project. An example payment schedule for a smaller project is a 50% deposit at the beginning, 25% progress payment at 75% completion, and then the final 25% payment once the project is 100% complete. A payment schedule will be detailed on our contract.
